BALTA Management

Leadership and direction for BALTA is provided by a steering committee of eight members – two community organization representatives, four academic institution representatives, a student representative and BALTA’s coordinator (ex officio). See Steering Committee.

The lead agency for BALTA is the Canadian Centre for Community Renewal (CCCR). Some specific management roles are also provided by Royal Roads University. CCCR's executive director, Mike Lewis, is the director and principal investigator of the BALTA research alliance. BALTA's coordinator is Stuart Wulff. Other staff serve specific roles - Lena Soots (Student Program Coordinator) and Don McNair (Communications Specialist). See Management Team.
